This began as a practice sheet for lips. I had only drawn one pair of lips before and so this one was to see if I could get the concept. Once I had her lips made I felt she needed a nose, and then came the rest. The tattoo on her neck means temple. I also experimented with tears for the first time, and ears. My favorite part about faces are the eyes. To me, they tell a story on their own. In this one there is obvious pain.
